STRETCHING NOAH AFTER SEPTEMBER FIRST SAVES 12.9 mil OFF THE 2019 CAP AT THE COST OF 6.4 MIL FOR TWO YEARS.  THAT WOULD GIVE THE KNICKS ENOUGH CAP SPACE TO SIGN A FULL MAX PLAYER NEXT SUMMER.

GIVING NOAH THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHASE A CHIP ON SEPT FIRST WOULD GIVE THE KNICKS A TON OF GOOD WILL WITH FUTURE FREE AGENTS.  LETTING NOAH ROT ON THE BENCH FOR A YEAR SERVES NO PURPOSE AND DETERIORATES HIS TRADE VALUE.  IF THE TEAM TRIES TO TRADE NOAH AS AN EXPIRING NEXT SUMMER THEY WILL EITHER HAVE TO TAKE BACK A LONGER CONTRACT OR GIVE UP A PROTECTED PICK TO A TEAM LOOKING ROBABSOEB SALARY.  GIV8NG UP A PROTECTED FIRST TO CLEAR NOAHS CONTRACT WOULD SAVE THE KNICKS JUST THE 6.4 MIL OF HIS STRETCHED VALUE.  HARDLY WORTH GIVI F UP A FIRST ROUND PICK.

AT THIS POINT IN OUR PROCESS ID RATHER GIVE THE .MINUTES TO DEVELOP KORNET AND MITCH ROB AND TO BOOST KANTER’S VALUE.  ANYONE WANTING TO HOLD ONTO NOAH AT THIS POINT IS JUST HURT AND VINDICTIVE AND NOT THINKING CLEARLY.
