What’s New – Jul. 30, 2016

I ENJOY READING THIS SERIES FOR THE INSIGHT INTO PHIL’S PERSONALITY.

  • PHIL ASKS VISITORS TO REMOVE THEIR SHOES
  • PHIL HAS A MEDITATION ROOM
  • PHIL HAS A 90 INCH TV HANGING ON THE WALL
  • PHIL HAS A PAINTING OF A BOY FLYING A KITE EVERY WHERE HE’S LIVED
  • PHIL HAS MUSIC PLAYING 24/7 IN ALL HIS HOMES

I ALSO ENJOY HIS INSIGHTS INTO WHERE THE GAME IS TODAY.

  • PHIL THINKS PLAYERS OF TODAY’S GENERATION LACK FUNDAMENTALS
  • PHIL WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE COURT ENLARGED
  • HOW PHIL WOULD REMEDY “HACK-A-SHAQ”

THE FOCUS ON THE DETAILS OF THE TEAM DYNAMICS IN THE EARLY PART OF THE SEASON IS LESS USEFUL HIS ANALYSIS OF PLAYERS NO LONGER ON THE TEAM DOESN’T SERVE MUCH PURPOSE OTHER THAN FILLING COPY.  BUT THERE IS EVEN SOME INSIGHT IF YOU LOOK CLOSER. IN AN ANALYSIS OF DERRICK WILLIAMS DEVELOP PHIL REVEALS PLAYERS NEED 18 MINUTES A GAME TO DEVELOP CONSISTENCY.  AT THE TIME DWILL WAS ONLY GETTING 12 MINUTES BECAUSE OF LANCE THOMAS STELLAR PLAY.

GUESS WE CAN’T COMPLAIN GETTING KNICK CONTENT IN THE DOLDRUMS OF JULY.

ENJOY THE DAY.

THIS SHOULD BE MUST SEE TV.
